Training Locations

Using the advice and guidance of Team GB Olympians we’ve located and devised the best possible training routes suitable for all abilities and all training requirements. The running is at least as good as the best venues used by the top athletes around the world. Including Font Romeu and Albuquerque. Most of it is on the doorstep from flat, fast running to hills, as well as miles of rolling country lanes. The riding is world class with a stage of the Tour de France having started out from Salies de Béarn.

A stunning location for steady, rolling runs. The high Pyrénnées are visible in the distance on one side and the flat plains of Aquitaine to the other. Perfect for logging those base miles.

At 4.5 miles long, perfectly flat and protected by dense tree cover along much of its length, the disused railway line is perfect for measured ‘tempo’ efforts.

A flowing 2 mile loop around a picturesque lake. We use this for intervals and group efforts. Once finished the lake is perfect for icing your legs and has a beach area for strength & conditioning work.
